Return to the ' A Shau'
A few pics of 2/327 at the "Return to the A Shau" event in Elgin, IL. Despite a heat index close to 100 and thunderstorms at night, we had over 40 re-enactors and close to 400 spectators at this first time, Vietnam-only event. Literally almost half of the spectators were Vietnam veterans. We were lucky enough to also host a Veterans' Round Table Discussion with several local vets as well. It was a great time and an amazing reception by the vets. 2/327 looks forward to the future of Vietnam reenacting within the nation and the support of the Vietnam Veterans and public.
